Slate Men's Tie

Make a textured, handmade crochet tie in around 10 hours with this easy crochet tie pattern. Worked in fingering weight yarn with a 3mm hook, using herringbone double crochet, the finished tie measures 60 inches (152 cm) long and 4 inches (10 cm) at its widest point. The herringbone stitch gives the tie a dense, woven-looking fabric with a subtle diagonal texture, so it looks smart enough to wear and makes a thoughtful handmade gift for a dad, partner, groom or friend. ✨ INSTANT DOWNLOAD CROCHET PATTERN PDF pattern in US & UK crochet terms, written in English Video tutorial included, showing the first few rows and every stitch you need to complete the tie using the written pattern Step-by-step written instructions for the whole tie WHAT YOU’LL MAKE Finished tie: 60 x 4 inches (152 x 10 cm) Approx. 10 hour project Easy level Stitches used: foundation double crochet and herringbone double crochet YARN & MATERIALS Any fingering weight yarn works well, just check your tension matches Hook: 3mm Tapestry needle for weaving in ends WHY MAKE THIS CROCHET PATTERN A textured herringbone fabric that looks like a woven tie A handmade gift for Father’s Day, birthdays, weddings or Christmas A video tutorial walks you through the start of the tie and every stitch Uses just two stitches, with separate stitch tutorials available on my YouTube channel Easy level, written in US & UK crochet terms This is a digital crochet pattern written in English.
