Mug Sweater

This is a dup hand-knit with colorwork of the LL Bean vintage sweater collaboration with Dunkin Donuts. It was a give-away mug sweater by the stores in Sept 2026, in the magenta and orange color scheme. It is sized to fit a med sized mug or plastic drink size. It is ideal for keeping your fingers warm while drinking your iced coffee in winter. You will have enough to do more than 1 depending on which version you choose. Version 1 and Version 2 are slightly different. Version 1 mimics the sweater given away by the donut store and uses only 2 colors. The sleeves are longer in Version 2 to retain the colorwork pattern and 4 rows at the bottom are left without colorwork to balance the solid space around the neckline. Version 2 uses 3 colors. This is a craft item and will fit multiple sized mugs or drinking vessels due to stretch and compression capabilities. You can alter the color scheme to be whatever you would like. We chose to follow the colors of the donut franchise for fun and recognizability, so magenta, orange, and white (version 2 only). This is our first foray into pattern design so please let us know if something doesn't work as written. Keep in mind that it is intended to be a fun craft item. We do suggest wool sport weight yarn be used for the best outcome. We are looking forward to seeing your mug sweaters!
