Are you looking for a unique dragon to create? This adorably fierce kitten-like dragon is ready to pounce! Grab your hook and choose some yarn, because this is your next project. This pattern is written in English only, using US terms. This pattern is intermediate to advanced - there are a lot of photos and a couple videos to help you though the creation of your new dragon. Approximate Finished Size: 8 inches tall (hunched forward), 30 inches long (including the tail) This dragon can be made in a variety of positions, which are shown in the pattern. The fun part about this dragon is that you can have him sitting, you can make 0-4 tails, and you can use or omit face details to make your dragon truly unique. This pattern shows you how to place up to 3 tails - so you'll have to get creative if you want to go for 4! The tails in this pattern are unique if I can be so bold in claiming - they are made in a couple rows versus having to spend a ton of time working in tiny rounds per tail, saving not only your time but your hands! Below are all the abbreviations used and the materials you will need to make this dragon. Please check over the abbreviations to see if you are comfortable using those stitches. Many, if not all, can be found on YouTube to give you a quick refresh. Materials Red Heart Super Saver, Weight 4 Yarn, Pink, 280 yards Red Heart Super Saver, Weight 4 Yarn, White, 30 yards 3 mm Crochet Hook 2 mm Wire (38 inches, or 3 ft. 2 in.) 1 mm Wire (113 inches, or 9 ft. 5 in.) 25 mm Sinker Safety Eye Pair Poly-fil, Scissors, Pins Stitch Markers Wide-eyed Needle Wire Cutters Using a wire spool will make this project easier. Having a bunch of short wire strands will make this harder, as most pieces in this pattern need very long wire strands. You may want to use the 2 mm wire on the tails if you want them to pose well in the air. I used 1 mm wire on all of my tails. I use two wire spools for this dragon, one is 1 mm and the other is 2 mm. Neither are wrapped (such as being a floral wrapped wire). Below are the approximate lengths of wire needed for each piece.
