Cheeky Chicken

Cheeky Chicken is part of the Funny Birds Collection. Language: English (US terms) and Dutch Skill level: Beginner The Cheeky Chicken shown in this pattern was made with Scheepjes Little Darling yarn. This soft yarn produces a finished chicken measuring approximately 17 cm high, excluding the legs. Cotton like Scheepjes Catona or Durable Coral will produce a smaller chicken, approximately 13 cm high. Yarn (Scheepjes Little Darling): White - Ice Bear - 401 - 60 gr Red - Cherry - 427 - < 20 gr Yellow - Lemon - 421 - < 20 gr Other materials: • 2 safety eyes (9 mm, or a size appropriate for your chosen yarn) • 3.5 mm crochet hook, or a hook size appropriate for your chosen yarn and tension • Yarn needle for sewing • 5 stitch markers • Fiberfill stuffing • Scissors • Craft wire and electrical tape (optional) This pattern uses US crochet terminology and Dutch terminology: ch = chain sl st = slip stitch sc = single crochet MR = magic ring inc = increase (work 2 sc in the same stitch) dec = decrease (work 2 sc together) All parts in this pattern are worked in continuous rounds unless stated otherwise.
