Not Your Granny's Pillow Sham

This is a simple pattern that allows an expression of individuality. - Using 5-inch squares created with a 5.5 mm crochet hook, this creates a modular grid that you can mix and match artistically – 4 squares wide by 5 squares tall. - In this pattern, I randomly mixed in 24 squares that included a round or two of black yarn. Of course, this could all be done in one color (for which you would need a total of 1,800 yards worsted yarn). - 2 full size pillow shams will require 80 squares. - Black cotton pillowcases underneath (optional) compliment the look.
