Gauge: 12 sc and 13 rows = 4″x 4″ with a 5.0 mm crochet hook and 2 strands of yarn. The gauge isn't really that strict since you can customize by adding rounds until you reach your desired measurement. The first chains in the round do not count as a stitch unless mentioned.
