Petal Motif Cardigan

The Petal Motif Cardigan is made by crocheting 38 motifs in total (36 squares and 2 half motifs) and joining them to form the body. Stitches are then picked up from the body to knit the sleeves top-down, and the edges are finished with a 3-stitch I-cord. The square neckline makes it easy to style like a blouse, and I recommend crocheting/knitting it in mohair. Gauge/Size guide The body is 10 motifs around. So each motif's width and height should equal [(chest circumference) ÷ 10]. Mohair ver. (white): each motif is 9 cm × 9 cm, finished chest circumference is 93 cm (the tapestry-needle seams and I-cord add a little width), length is 42cm Summer ver.
