Viridian Cowl

This Tunisian crochet cowl is worked in the round. I use a double-ended Tunisian crochet hook but you can choose your preferred method. The examples photographed here use two contrasting yarns. Tunisian crochet in the round uses two strands, one for the right side and one for the Return Pass. You will work the stitches on one side as far as is comfortable for your hook or cable, and then turn your work and do a Return Pass. Always leave 2 or 3 loops on your hook. Doing the Return Pass on a cable row is tight and can be tricky. Work it slowly, and use your fingers or another hook to separate the loops if needed. Yarn 320 yds/292 m Malabrigo Rios is used in the sample. Sizing Adult M/L (26” circumference x 11.5” tall) Materials Size K / 6.5mm (or size for gauge) double-ended Tunisian crochet hook or a 16” or 24” cabled Tunisian crochet hook.
