Nemesis skirt

This is a crochet pattern only, not a finished product. The Nemesis skirt is a simple mini skirt with 2 slits. My skirt is pretty lacy - you can make yours less lacy if you want and you can make it with 1, 2 or no slits! You can also customize the length of the skirt! This skirt is named after the goddess of divine justice, retribution, and humbling excessive human arrogance. This is the ultimate revenge skirt (sexy as hell). About the pattern: - This pattern is beginner-friendly as it contains a lot of photos and is fairly simple (advanced beginner-friendly if you work short rows to make the back a little longer than the front). - You'll sew the first and last row together. I've included a video for the sewing. - The pattern is made-to-measure meaning that you'll make it according to your own measurements and desired fit. - No decreases/increases. - This skirt works up super fast if you're making yours short and lacy too! I can make one in just 2 days. - Includes a list of suggested yarn. Materials: - Yarn: super fine to fine cotton (weight 1-2) (choose the yarn weight based on your desired thickness of the skirt). I used fingering weight cotton with sequins from Woolstock.dk (200 g/600 m, weight 1) (brand name is “ZLWXL”). I used 100 g for a size s/m. - 2-4 crochet hooks: Primary hook: depends on how lacy you want the skirt. Go for the size listed on your yarn label if you don’t want it to be very lacy (if it suggests a range of sizes, pick the size according to how lacy you want the skirt). If you want to make it a little lacy, go for 1 mm larger than the size listed on the yarn label. If you want it as lacy as mine, go for 2-2,5 mm larger than the listed size. I used size 5 mm and my yarn recommends size 1,75-2,5 mm. Secondary hook: 0,5 mm smaller than your primary hook. You may need a third and fourth hook size to make the waistband fit. I had to use both a third and fourth hook size for mine. Third hook: 1 mm smaller than your primary hook (mine: 4 mm). Fourth hook: 1,5 mm smaller than your primary hook (mine: 3,5 mm). - yarn needle - scissors - stitch markers - measuring tape Skills needed: - chaining - slip stitching - single crochet - double crochet Right after purchasing, you will receive a downloadable PDF copy of this pattern and a lookbook.
