The words “Give Thanks with a Grateful Heart” are a simple reminder of an important truth: there is always something to be thankful for. This blanket was inspired by the verse of 1 Thessalonians 5:18: “In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus.” In both the joyful seasons and the difficult ones, we are called to look for the blessings God has given us and to cultivate a heart of gratitude. I designed the Give Thanks Blanket as a beautiful way to keep that reminder close. Through the texture and pattern of overlay mosaic crochet, these meaningful words become part of a blanket that can be made, enjoyed, and shared with someone special. My hope is that each time you see the words “Give Thanks with a Grateful Heart,” they will encourage you to pause, remember God’s goodness, and find something to be thankful for.
