Call of the Wild

'Call of the Wild' was born from a mystery. That is, a Magical Mystery Skein. I was shopping on La Bien Aimee's website and saw they had 'Magical Mystery Skeins' where you could not see the actual colourway, but you could see a photo that was a representation of that colourway. I, always a sucker for surprise anything, chose a picture of a wolf and a few weeks later I was knitting with one of the most beautiful skeins of yarn. Following in line with the picture of the wolf, 'Call of the Wild' was a natural choice for the name of the pattern. **Yarn Requirements:** * This pattern calls for either a Heavy Sport, or DK yarn. * As stated above, I used La Bien Aimee Merino DK. * You will need at minimum, 215 yards. **Needles:** * 3.25mm and 3.75mm needles on a 16" cord, plus 3.75mm DPN's, of needles on a 40" cord for Magic Loop. * 1 Cable Needle that is roughly the same gauge. **Gauge:** * 28 sts / 4" knit in the cabled pattern. Cables knit up tighter, so it's not a typical DK weight gauge. **Finished Size:** * Will fit a head circumference up to 24" **Additional Materials Needed** * Scissors * Darning Needle * 5 Stitch Markers, one unique for BOR
