Adelaide

Adelaide is a mosaic overlay pattern named after my hometown. I used Bendigo Woollen Mills Wollemi 8 ply (DK) in Waratah and Paperbark and the splash of green in the border is Acacia Limelight. I also made a second version with the colours reversed and both combinations work beautifully, so choose whichever placement you prefer. Any yarn weight yarn, with the corresponding hook size, can be used for this project. It is worth noting that a heavier weight yarn will increase the size of your project and a lighter yarn decrease the size of your project. Adelaide has a lovely repeating rhythm that makes it easy to settle into once you get going. There is just enough variation in the design to keep things interesting and give the finished piece that little something extra. The throws measures 105cm x 160cm but can easily adjusted for different size projects.
