La Vie en Fleurs Sweater

La Vie en Fleurs is the first design in my Artist Tunisian Crochet Collection. This sweater combines Tunisian crochet with cross-stitch embroidery, creating the look of a wearable textile painting. The Front features a large vintage-inspired floral composition, while the Back is decorated with the French phrase “LA VIE EN FLEURS” and delicate floral details. The silhouette is relaxed and slightly oversized, with dropped shoulders and soft gathered sleeves. The simple shape lets the embroidery become the main focus of the design. The embroidery is worked directly onto the Tunisian crochet fabric using detailed charts included in the pattern. Sizes XS/S (M, L, XL, 2XL, 3XL) Finished chest circumference: XS/S — approx. 96 cm / 38" M — approx. 106 cm / 42" L — approx. 116 cm / 46" XL — approx. 126 cm / 50" 2XL — approx. 136 cm / 54" 3XL — approx. 146 cm / 57.5" The sweater is designed with a relaxed fit. Yarn & Hooks The original sample was made with Scheepjes Cahlista, 100% cotton. Main fabric: Scheepjes Cahlista 263 Hooks used: 6.5 mm Tunisian crochet hook 5 mm regular crochet hook Additional colors are used for the embroidery.
