Abby Headband

The Abby Headband designed to be worn comfortably under helmets or with the notch at the back of your neck for everyday wear. This headband’s construction utilizes the natural horizontal stretch of knit fabric. It can be worked up in a wide variety of yarn weights and sizes, making it perfect for stash-busting. Start with a provisional cast-on, then work in-the-round with short-rows, before creating a seamless finish by grafting the first round with the last. The Abby Headband is inspired by my friend, Abby. As an avid biker, she was looking for a headband that would fit comfortably under her helmet. So, I created this headband with a notch that allows it to be worn without creating extra bulk under helmets.
