A Few Bit of Groceries Bag

**This is a placeholder for an actual pattern! This document only contains the colourwork chart, and does not contain information about the actual construction of the final piece (yet).** This is a combination project of both crochet and cross-stitch. It’s constructed in phases: First, a base bag is constructed using intarsia crochet, Then, cross-stitch details are added, and Finally, the "net" is surface crocheted on-top. You will need 25 different colours for the final product (see the list attached in the pdf), but since this was a freehand project, I cannot yet say how much you will need of each colour, only that the background light blue, the white for the "milk bottles", the brown for the "bread" and the beige for the "bag" require at least one skein each. The "pattern" attached currently is only the colourwork of the initial version. I am working on drafting an actual pattern that is updated to include better construction methods than I used for this version, a clearer guide for each step and also an explanation for the techniques used. (and also more details that i added as I went along that is not in this version!) Since this version is untested and essentially just a google sheets document, there is a large chance that it contains mistakes! But you are welcome to try and attempt to make something of this version while you wait for the actual pattern. Based on what I shared above, I cannot in good conscience charge anyone to pay for this version of the pattern. Please know that a better version is on the way! It will just take a while (I cannot say how long yet) as I have never drafted a pattern before!
