Fasad Fingerless gloves

Fingerless gloves are both useful and enjoyable to make as autumn sets in. Why not make the most of the daylight hours by knitting outside, even as the temperatures drop? Inspired by modern architecture, I designed these elegant, warm fingerless gloves. The simple grid pattern provides extra warmth without any long floats on the back. The pattern follows a clear logic that makes it easy to follow, but at the same time offering enough variety to keep it interesting. The mitts are knitted in the round, from cuff to fingers, using either a circular needle or double-pointed needles. They are finished with an elegant hem. There is no difference between the right and left mitten. For greater durability and more evenly tearing you can alternate between right and left when using them.
