This pattern will launch on 27/09/26 **PATTERN INFORMATION** This scoodie is the perfect mix of scarf and hood; whilst it can be worn solely as a long, chunky scarf, it also has a built-in hood, so that on particularly cold or windy days, it can be worn with the hood up. The hood is worked first with increases in the middle and back edge to make room for the head, which is then decreased going down the other side of the hood. The scarf sides can then be worked individually or at the same time to create an even length. Knitting the hood first gives the option to adapt the scarf lengths as desired. **MATERIALS** **Yarn** Aran weight yarn: 500m / 546yds total Yarn options (amount per skein): Sandnes Garn Kos (50g / 150m / 164yds) Wool and the Gang Feeling Good Yarn (50g / 130m / 142yds) Mode at Rowan Softest Alpaca (50g / 130m / 142yds) Lana Grossa Natural Alpaca Pelo (50g / 125m / 136yds) **Needles** 5mm (US 8) circular or straight needles 60cm (23.6") Crochet hook in a similar size to needles **Notions** Darning needle 3 removable stitch markers **SIZING** One Size **GAUGE** 26 sts x 19.5 rows = 10 x 10cm (4 x 4") in 1x1 rib stitch on 5mm (US 8) needles, or size needed to obtain gauge. **DIFFICULTY** This is an advanced pattern.
