Quirky Leg Vase

This pattern shows how to make a crochet leg vase. It is modeled after a vintage display leg. Included in the pattern: leg vase, how to add wire to your high heel, high heel base plate, ankle strap, full coverage, partial coverage, foot strap and ragdoll foot strap options for the front of the heel, two heel options (skinny, and thicker at top), and how to attach the foot to a wood base. I also included a couple of different ideas on how to customize your leg. Two strands of worsted weight is used for the leg with 4mm hook. High heel is made with 1 strand of worsted weight with 3.5mm hook. Skill Level: Experienced Beginner - Advanced You do have to know how to change colors if doing the ragdoll foot strap modification. Mostly basic stitches are used with a few slightly more complex stitches. Some of the pieces are shaped by pulling and stretching with your hands, and stuffing with poly fil. Along with the help of wire. Hot glue and wire is only needed if making a high heel. The pattern includes typed instructions along with photos. There are 32 pages total. Pages 22-32 are the printer friendly ones where the text is a little bit closer together, and the pictures are taken out.
