Hummelo is a modern cardigan knit in a simple textured stitch pattern. With its curled angled fronts, split hem and longer back it transitions from casual jeans and a tee to a summer dress jacket. **Finished measurements** Bust – 48 (56)" Length – 23" Note: This fronts do not close, so the sizing is quite forgiving. Please take this into consideration when selecting your size. **Materials** 8 (10) Hanks THE FIBRE CO. LUMA (50 grs/ 137 yds), #LUM220 Grigio OR 6 (7) Hanks PURL SOHO PLEIN AIR (100 grs/ 218 yds), Pencil Mark 24" Length circular knitting needle, size 6 (4 mm) OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE Spare circular needle size 6 (4 mm) or smaller for 3 needle bind off Stitch holders Removable stitch markers **Gauge** 22 sts = 4"; 30 rows = 4" in pattern stitch 22 sts = 4"; 30 rows = 4" in St st TO SAVE TIME, TAKE TIME TO CHECK GAUGE **Construction note** Beginning with the German Twist cast on, the back is knit from the bottom up with shoulders shaped using the German short row technique. Fronts are knit separately and joined to the back at shoulder seams with a 3 needle bind off. Drop sleeves are picked up from the body and knit down to the desired length.
