The Sea lion Scarf

Notes about the Pattern The Sea lion Scarf is worked up in the moss stitch with increases and then decreases for shaping. In the pattern I have directly referred to the stitch as moss stitch in the hopes it makes it slightly easier to follow, when counting stitches for each row make sure you count the sc and the ch 1 of each moss stitch as 2 separate stitches, e.g. 4 moss stitch would equal 8 total stitches Do note, that apart from the fsc and sc at the start and end of every row, every other sc worked for the main body of the scarf is worked into the ch 1 space of the row below. The first 10-20 rows of the pattern and the last 10-20 rows of the pattern can be somewhat fiddly just because you are working with so few stitches in each row, be patient with yourself. INCREASE ROWS - When you work an increase row you will do a fsc followed by a chain 1. Your first moss stitch for the increase rows will go into the chain 1 space that is next to the sc you finished the last row with. It may look a little bunched up ect but it will even out as you work the following rows. At the end of each increase row I have included what your new stitch count should be in brackets.
