The Capricorn Cowl - CROCHET PATTERN (English and US terms only) *Sizes - Toddler/Child - 23.5 in circumference, 13 in tall Child/Tween - 24.5 in circumference, 15 in tall Teen/Adult - 26 in circumference, 17 in tall Beginner Friendly Gauge - 20 sts/14 rows in main color and in hdc = 4x4 inch square *Materials *3.5 mm hook *KnitPicks Alpaca Cloud DK in Leonardo, 123yds/50g (for main color - 350yds, 400yds, 468yds) *Malabrigo Rios Worsted in Capricorn, 210yds/100g (for contrasting color - 150yds, 175yds, 195yds) NOTE- I have purposely mixed DK and worsted weight yarns. The contrasting color stripe has texture and I found that using a worsted weight yarn makes the little “rosebuds” pop even more. Using a DK yarn for your contrasting color will still work nicely but the definition won’t be achieved.
