Fits Like a Sock - Custom Crochet Socks

You enter yarn size, hook size, preferred stitch and finished size (or accept the defaults) and a step-by-step printable pattern is generated. You can also generate custom sizes by entering foot measurements. It is highly recommended that you crochet a gauge swatch with the same yarn, hook and stitch you will use for the project. The default yarn is size 1 with 3.25 and 4 mm hooks and herringbone half double crochet for most of the sock. One 100 gram skein is usually enough for two socks. Socks in the photos were done with Queensland Perth, Kings Canyon, Size 1 (the bright, colorful ones) and Patons Kroy Socks, Midnight Orchid, Size 1 for the pair I made for myself.
