US 1 (2.25 mm) circular needle or double-pointed needles
Scissors
Darning needle

In stockinette stitch 4 x 4 inches = 32 sts x 48 rows
**About how this pattern is written**
The pattern instructions are written in sections: Cast on, cuff, leg, heel, gusset, instep, and toe. The numbering of the rounds/rows will start over in each section. This affords flexibility for accommodating different sizes in one pattern.
**Sizes**
A (B, C, D, E, F) with a finished circumference of 7 (7.5, 8, 8.5, 9, 9.5) inches or 18 (19, 20, 22, 23, 24) cm.
The sample shown in the photos is size C, a 64 stitch sock.
