Ravendipity Wrap No.10

***Ravendipity Wrap No.10…*** a lovely wrap (or oversized scarf) in Vancouver Island Fleece, hand-spun/hand-dyed by a member of the Black Creek Spinners. This asymmetrical wrap is knit sideways, commencing with an I-cord cast-on with an increase at the end of every right-side row, resulting in a bias finish to the pattern. The rustic wool pairs well with this textured stitch, creating a longer “tail” for extra wrapping on cooler days and little ‘ruffle edge’. Measurements approx. after blocking: 84 in/213 cm wingspan x 66 in/168 cm x 43 in/109 cm x 33 in/84 cm at deepest point. (Metric measurements are rounded off to the nearest cm). Yarn: 4 bundles of hand-spun/hand-dyed wool equivalent to 440 g (used 420 g/1042 m).
