15 Highline Sweater

The 15 Highline Sweater is an elegant high-neck sweater featuring compound raglan shaping and an oversized, relaxed fit. Deep twisted ribs frame the cuffs, hem, and neck, while a contrasting two-colour design creates a memorable pattern on the body and sleeves. The sweater is designed with approximately 17.5-22.5 cm/7-9” positive ease, creating a flattering, striking sweater. The construction begins knitting flat at the top of the sleeves and back in the main colour, with raglan increases shaping the shoulders while the front neck is formed. The raglan shaping continues after joining the neck, with gradual increases that follow the body’s natural contours, accelerating near the underarm for a smooth, flattering curve. After a few rounds in the main colour, the contrast colour is introduced to work the stitch pattern from the chart. Once the yoke is complete, the sleeves are split from the body. Sleeve stitches are held while the body is worked in the round to the hem, continuing the colourwork design. The body is finished with a deep twisted rib hem, while the sleeves taper gradually to the cuff and are finished with matching twisted ribs. A few rows of contrast colour on both cuffs and hem create striking edging. To complete the sweater, stitches are picked up around the neck and worked in twisted rib to form the high neck.
