Snail Sweater

This oversized sweater is knit top-down. You begin with the back, adding increases for a drop-shoulder fit, then pick up the shoulder stitches and shape the neckline. The front is worked flat with a choice of working the snails in intarsia colorwork or continuing the sweater in the main color & then duplicate stitching at the end. You then join in the round to finish the body, ending in 2x2 ribbing. Sleeves are picked up and knit then finished with 2x2 ribbing. The neckline is picked up and finished in 2x2 ribbing. All edges are bound off in pattern (or Italian bind off/other stretchy bind off preferred). Collar, cuffs, and hem are finished with a blanket stitch detail.
