Don't miss this SALE! ❤️️❤️️❤️️❤️️❤️️❤️️❤️️❤️️❤️️❤️️❤️️❤️️❤️️❤️️❤️️ **NEW:** This pattern now includes an interactive version in the Briana K app. You still get the printable PDF you know and love. In the app, you can also check off every row as you work, so your place is saved when life interrupts, and plot your color changes visually before you buy the yarn. Your PDF includes a code to unlock it; no subscription. [Briana K Designs APP][1] The **Wheat Stitch Crochet Acorns** are made in one piece, stem and all. There is nothing to sew and nothing to assemble, which is not something most crochet acorns can say. Three sizes let you build a whole bowl of them, and the ***[Wheat Stitch][2]*** textured cap is the part people reach for and turn over in their hands. You start at the very tip of the stem inside a magic ring and work down. Those first few plain rnds worked on a handful of sts are the stem, and the cap opens out from there. At the widest point of the cap, you work one rnd into one set of loops only, fasten off, then go back and work into the loops you left behind. The loops you worked into first become the flared brim of the cap, and the nut grows out from underneath. From there, you stop joining, work in a spiral, stuff as you go, and close up the bottom. Gauge is not critical here. What matters is a fabric tight enough that the stuffing does not peek through, so go down a hook size from what you would normally use with this yarn. The stitch counts stay exactly the same across all three sizes, so if you want a bigger or smaller acorn, you change your yarn and hook rather than the pattern. The PDF also includes six full colorways and the reasoning behind each palette, from Warm Neutral, which sits out in July as readily as October, to Woodland Christmas, with no red at all, so the bowl can stay out from November straight through January. **[A video tutorial is included.][3]** **CROCHET HOOK:** [G (4.0 mm) Crochet Hook][4], or whatever size gives you a firm, tight fabric **NOTIONS:** [Scissors][5] [Yarn Needle to weave in ends][6] [Cat Removable Stitch Marker][7] [Fiberfill Stuffing][8] Optional: [poly pellets][9] or dried beans for a weighted bottom **YARN:** [Herrschners Worsted 8 Yarn][10] 100% Acrylic, 489yds/226g, #4 Worsted Weight Two colors per acorn.
