Just like the title Hibi which means 'everyday' or 'daily' in Japanese, it is a versatile piece that you can wear on any occasion in your daily life. This pullover is intended to be knit with a relatively loose gauge which gives lightness and coziness when worn, and its small details contribute to a casual yet elegant look. I hope this piece becomes your wardrobe staple. It is worked from the top down. It starts at the back neck edge, then works short rows to shape the middle of the back neck lower and shoulders higher. Then, increases are made to shape shoulder slant to the full width of the back. Then stitches are picked up for each front and worked back and forth with neckline shaping to the underarms where the front and back are joined. Then the body is worked in the round to your desired length, some short rows are worked to make the back longer. The hem is worked with a twisted ribbing or i-cord according to your preference. Lastly, sleeve stitches are picked up around the armhole opening and worked in the round with tapering.
