Helical basic socks set

The Helical basic socks set is a pattern full of perfect stripes, featuring a variety of options for the cuff and heel. Use your favourite colors to create your perfect socks. Both sock options are knitted cuff-down using short circular needles or magic loop. You can also use DPNs if you prefer. I love knitting striped socks and I find that this technique is the best for jogless and perfect stripes. You can use more than two colors and make a pair of colorful socks. SIZES 1 (2, 3, 4) To fit (foot circumference): Size 1 (18 cm / 7") Size 2 (20 cm / 8") Size 3 (23 cm / 9") Size 4 (25 cm / 10") Finished circumference: Size 1 (15 cm / 6") Size 2 (18 cm / 7") Size 3 (20 cm / 8") Size 4 (23 cm / 9") Recommended ease: You will need negative ease for a good fit. Measure your foot's circumference and choose a size with approximately 2.5 cm / 1" of negative ease. The leg / foot length is easily adjustable as you can knit more or less rounds to fit your foot perfectly. Size 2 shown on a size EU 39 / US 8 size foot with 20 cm / 8" foot circumference. MATERIALS Yarn MC: 1 skein Lang Jawoll sock yarn shown in colourway 0250 (75% virgin wool, 25% nylon), 210 m (229 yds) per 50 g skein, CC: 1 skein Lang Jawoll sock yarn shown in colourway 83.0001 (75% virgin wool, 25% nylon), 210 m (229 yds) per 50 g skein, Or any fingering weight sock yarn as long as you obtain gauge. Yardage Approximately 338 m (370 yds). Needles 2 mm (US 0), 23 cm (9") circular needle, or 80 cm (32") circular for magic loop, or DPNs for cuff ribbing and 2.5 mm (US 1.5) for the rest of the sock, including heel and toe.
