In this pattern, I have provided both “made to measure” instructions as well as stitch counts for sizes XXS-4XL based on a gauge swatch. You will need to make two gauge swatches for this pattern. The Linked Double Crochet Gauge is 22 Stitches by 13 Rows (4" x 4"/10 cm x 10 cm) The Pike Stitch is 23 Stitches by 17 Rows (4" x 4"/10 cm x 10 cm) When swatching together you should have 22/23 stitches by 30 rows (4”x 8”/10 cm x 20cm) You will need Weight 2 / Sport Weight Cotton Yarn I used Friends Cotton 8/4 from Hobbi For a size small I used 260g of my main color and 30g for my accent color 3.5 mm crochet hook (or corresponding hook to reach gauge) Tape Measure Darning Needle Stitch Markers Scissors The Gameday Jersey is designed to fit oversized and cropped. The pattern has a built-in ease of +4”/10cm in the body. If you would like a more fitted version, I recommend sizing down or using the made-to-measure instructions.
