Snúra – Dog Sweater

The sweater is worked seamlessly from the top down and is available in three sizes: S, M and L. It is shaped to fit both male and female dogs. The proportions are designed for Whippets and may also suit dogs with a similarly deep chest, narrow waist and curved back. The neckline is finished with I-cord, using either a provisional cast-on or an I-cord worked first. The yoke is worked in the round, with increases and short rows shaping the chest. The sleeve stitches are then placed on hold while the body is completed. Decreases and ribbing shape the belly. The back section is worked flat in garter stitch, with short rows, decreases and I-cord edges. The sleeves are worked in the round and finished with an I-cord cast-off.
