Charity Drawstring Pouch

I made this pattern for The Landing, a charitable organization in Houston, TX that helps victims of human trafficking. Among the items requested for donation are bags or pouches to hold the toiletries the people receive when they are brought in. I didn't find a pattern I liked in a size I liked, so I decided to make one. The hdc version offers more privacy as it is more closely crocheted, and the dc version is stretchier, in case some items are larger. I made them using worsted yarn and a 5mm hook, but they are adaptable to any pairing of yarn/hook you like the look of. They can be made in either solids or stripes of your choosing. This is the first pattern I have ever published and I truly hope it can be of use.
