The Flying Scotsman Vest is one of six patterns in issue six of John Arbon Textiles’ in house magazine, The Annual.
[There are kits available for this pattern.][1]
Showcasing a bold, central cable inspired by intersecting train tracks, the Flying Scotsman Vest is named after Britain's most iconic locomotive. Knit from the top down, seed stitch side-panels echo rural scenery often glimpsed from a train window.
Finished with ribbing along the neckband and armholes and a
split hem for a modern-classic look.
Worked up in Knit by Numbers DK, Yarnadelic Worsted or Appledore DK, this timeless vest adds style to any outfit and, when combined with our cosier yarns, is guaranteed to become a warming, go-to staple for your travels.
