Polka Dot Bonnet

This bonnet is knit flat. It is worked as a rectangle from the bottom using intarsia to create the polka dots. Short rows are used to shape it. Once the main hood is finished, stitches are picked up along the edges to create the garter stitch edge around the face. Lastly, stitches are cast on and picked up along the bottom of the hood to create the straps. Level: Intermediate. Sizes: Approximately 6 - 12 months. Measurements: (when laid flat) width - 15 cms, length - 19 cms. Yarn weight: DK.
