Work it in bright colours to brighten up dull winter days, or use more muted tones for an understated classy wardrobe accessory. The finished shawlette measures 24” (61cm) high with a 55” (140cm) wingspan when worked to pattern tension of 17 sts and 32 rows to 4” (10cm) over blocked stocking stitch. Achieving pattern tension is not vital but it may affect the finished size of your shawlette and your yarn requirements if you do not.
