Open Stitch Madeline Cardigan with Buttons

I love a good cardigan that goes with everything, looks chic, polished, and it's a bonus when it's lightweight and airy! Living in the Florida Panhandle, I appreciate now more than ever an open stitch crochet cardigan made with natural fibers. You can easily crochet the body panels and sleeves in one weekend and do all the ribbing the next! I was also surprised that it can be unisex! THIS cardigan with a slightly oversized fit took me no more than 8 hours and was made over 2 weeks. That also includes my design time, there was some frogging, math involved and buttons.
