The pouch is knitted top-down and in the round. You start with a provisional cast on and knit a few cm to create de drawstring gap and holes. Then you create the hem. The rest of the pouch is knitted in the textured pattern. You close the pouch with a 3-needle bind off or you can sew the hem.
