Gigi the hare & Nene the mouse and their outfits knitted seamlessly with Magic loop technique. Pattern is technically edited and test knitted. **Construction:** Both the hare and the mouse are designed to knit with Sport or DK weight yarn on smaller needles for dense fabric. Therefore, I found metal needles are easier to work with for this project. If it’s too tight for you to knit, you can also go up a needle size and enjoy softer feel and slightly larger finish. In that case, use larger needles and thicker yarns to scale up their outfits accordingly. Both the hare and the mouse are worked from the face down seamlessly. The instructions for the body are the same for both, means they can share their outfits (the mouse has shorter legs than the hare.) The overalls are worked from the provisional cast-on. First you knit the upper body, bib and shoulder straps and then undo the provisional cast-on and work downwards the lower body and legs. You can make it into a dress without working the legs. The jacket is worked from the bottom up. Sleeves are worked in the round.
