도안 상세 설명 구글번역기로 번역하기
Isa Raglan Cardi is a soft, elegant cardigan where classic construction meets a graphic and feminine look. It is worked top-down, and stitches are later picked up along the front edges for the button bands. Raglan increases form the signature element of the cardigan. They continue from the yoke down the body and open into a beautiful, defined V on both front and back. The same lines are repeated on the sleeves for a harmonious effect.
**CONSTRUCTION**
Isa is worked seamlessly top-down. Raglan increases are worked simultaneously with German Short Rows to raise the back. After all increases have been worked, body and sleeves are separated. You then work the body and gradually expand the rib segments to shape the V on both front and back. The same is done on the sleeves, where the rib is likewise expanded into a V until the rib sections meet. All ribbing is finished with an Italian bind-off.
**LEVEL OF DIFFICULTY**
Intermediate. To make it less difficult, you may wish to omit the short rows and Italian bind-off.
**SIZES**
(1, 2, 3) (4, 5, 6) (7, 8)
**Bust circumference of finished cardigan approx.:** (93, 99, 106) (112, 118, 125) (131, 145) cm / (36.6, 39, 41.7) (44.1, 46.5, 49.2) (51.6, 57.1)”
**Circumference of ribbing around hips approx.:** (90, 94, 101) (108, 114, 120) (125, 139) cm / (35.4, 37, 39.8) (42.5, 44.9, 47.2) (49.2, 54.7)”
**Length back (incl. collar):** (50, 52, 52) (54, 56, 58) (60, 62) cm / (19.7, 20.5, 20.5) (21.3, 22, 22.8) (23.6, 24.4)”
**Sleeve length (from underarm) approx.:** (48, 48, 47) (47, 46, 45) (45, 44) cm / (18.9, 18.9, 18.5) (18.5, 18.1, 17.7) (17.7, 17.3)”
**Size guide**: The light-coloured Isa Raglan Cardi is shown in a size 1 with 11 cm / 4.3” of positive ease. Measure yourself before choosing your size. If you measure e.g. 95 cm / 37.4” around your bust, you may wish to choose a size 3, which gives you 11 cm / 4.3” of positive ease. You can easily size up or down to achieve your desired fit. I recommend an ease between -6 cm / -2.4” and +12 cm / +4.7”.
**YARN AND GAUGE**
2 strands are held together throughout: 1 strand of Merilin (shown in col. E0) and 1 strand of Trio1 (shown in col. Linen), both from Isager Yarn.
**Estimated yarn amounts:** (5, 5, 6) (6, 7, 7) (8, 8) balls / (250, 250, 300) (300, 350, 350) (400, 400) g Merilin (80% wool and 20% linen, 208 m / 50 g) *Held together with …* (4, 4, 5) (5, 5, 5) (6, 6) balls Trio1 (50% linen, 30% cotton and 20% lyocell, 350 m / 50 g)
**Alternatively,** Trio1 can be replaced with Isager Silk Mohair … (5, 5, 6) (6, 7, 7) (8, 8) balls / (125, 125, 150) (150, 175, 175) (200, 200) g (75% RMS certified mohair and 25% silk, 212 m / 25 g)
**PLEASE NOTE:** Yarn estimates are always that – estimates. They are based on what the test knitters used as well as the measurements in the pattern. Should you wish to knit a longer body and/or longer sleeves, this will affect the amount of yarn you need.
It is important that you meet gauge for the desired fit, which is why it is always a good idea to swatch and to wash and block your swatch, because the gauge may change after blocking. The same applies to the finished cardigan.
**Yarn alternative:** 1 strand of Jensen from Isager Yarn.
You will also need: (15, 15, 15) (16, 16, 16) (17, 17) buttons, 1.5 cm / 0.6” in diameter.
**Gauge:**
21 sts x 30 rows = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4” on a 4 mm / US 6 needle in stockinette stitch, after wash.
22–23 sts x 32 rows = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4” on a 4 mm / US 6 needle in rib, after wash.
**Suggested needles:**
4 mm / US 6 circular needles (40, 60–80 cm / 16, 24–32”)
3.5 mm / US 4 circular needles (60–80 cm / 24–32”)
3 mm / US 2.5 circular needles (30–40 cm / 12–16”)
