Elves of Mirkwood Fingerless Gloves

Mirkwood is full of giant spiders (one I have named Joe), shadowed trees, and probably some killer bees. Mirkwood elves (Mostly Silvan ones, so that includes most Mirkwood elves besides Legolas and Thranduil) are often more wild, less formal, and more connected to the forest. In a way, they’re more like mortals. But that’s mostly only the Silvan elves. near the more civilized part of Mirkwood (yep, it exists), elves are pictured wearing all shades of green, drapey clothing, and clothes that say ‘once I woke up at 3am to climb a tree but ended up fighting spiders the size of Gondor instead’. With this you can use any color yarn and experiment with different hooks. If you haven’t read Lord of the Rings (I’m offended) these can also just be cute gloves (or really quick gifts if you're in a pinch!). Gauge: I had like a 3rd of a Red Heart Super Saver yarn and the skein still looks like around the same so this could be a great stash buster. Extra details: For the mesh stitch in the pattern, some people do double crochet, chain two, skip two stitches, double crochet, repeat. For this pattern, I did double crochet, chain one, skip one.
