**Knitting Pattern for a loose-fitting Sweater with Long Sleeves, a Classic Raglan Construction Featuring DecorativeRaglan Increases in a Lace Pattern, and an Enchanting Lace Pattern on the Body and Sleeves, a Round Neck and Cuffs, Collar and Hem in Half Twisted Ribbing, Available in Sizes XS | S | M (L | XL | 2XL) 3XL | 4XL | 5XL** **Structure:** The sweater is worked top-down with raglan increases in a delicate, clover-like lace pattern: First, the sweater is worked flat in stockinette stitch and in the lace pattern to shape the round neckline using increases, while the raglan increases are created as yarn overs before and after the raglan stitch. Once the work is joined in the round, the sweater continues to be worked with yarn overs along the raglan lines and in the lace pattern in the round. When the required total stitch count for each size is reached, the sleeve stitches are placed on hold, and the body is finished in the lace pattern in the round without further increases, ending with a hem in half twisted ribbing (or an I-cord edging). The sleeve stitches are then picked up again and the sleeves are worked in the same lace pattern in the round, also finished with cuffs in half twisted ribbing or I-cord edgings. The round neckline is finished with a classic collar in half twisted ribbing or an applied I-cord edging. The fit of the sweater is comfortable due to moderate positive ease and stands out with its construction and cut – as well as the simple lace pattern – through its classic elegance. The yarn overs along the raglan lines emphasize the light, summery feel of the design and also serve as a distinctive eye-catching detail.
