To make the cowl: Larger: add foundation chains in multiples appropriate to your desired circumference. Smaller: remove foundation chains. Always measure the foundation chain around the intended wearer before joining. For the hood, prioritize measurements and fit over the exact number of rows. Ear adjustments The ears can easily be made: Longer: add additional plain SC rounds before beginning the taper. Shorter: begin the taper earlier.
