Blouse Boule

Blouse Boule is an oversized mohair blouse with balloon sleeves, knit top-down in the round. It's worked seamlessly from a folded collar down through a raglan yoke, then the sleeves are separated and the body and sleeves are finished with folded (self-facing) hems. Sizes: XXS, XS, S, M, L, XL, 2XL, to fit a 75-125 cm (30-49 in) bust. The blouse is designed with approx. 20-30 cm (8-12 in) of positive ease for a generous, blousy fit. Finished bust circumference ranges from 98 cm (XXS) to 144 cm (2XL); finished length from 45 cm (XXS) to 56 cm (2XL). Gauge: 18 sts x 28 rows = 10 x 10 cm (4 x 4 in) in stockinette stitch on 6 mm (US 10) needles, after light blocking. Materials: Phildar Phil Chic (or another mohair-blend yarn matching gauge), approx. 4 (5) 5 (6) 6 (7) 8 skeins depending on size. Circular needles in 6 mm (US 10) and 5 mm (US 8), stitch markers, scrap yarn or a stitch holder, and a tapestry needle.
