Fern Baby Romper

A baby romper knitted from the bottom up in a single size, 0–3 months. The front and back are worked separately as flat panels, then joined and worked in the round. A textured chevron panel runs across the front, given both as written rounds and as a chart. The piece then divides again for the bib and back, finishing with garter straps and buttoned leg openings. Six buttons fasten the romper. Worked in DK weight yarn on 3.5 mm needles. Every step is supported by detailed process photographs. This pattern is offered free of charge.
