The Drip Socks

I'm Mollie and the knits, a brand new designer from Melbourne, Australia. I design these sock because I'm in love with knitting this THE DRIP colour work, it came from very my first design of THE DRIP CARDI. The Drip Socks is worked from the cuff down with a very comfortable fit on a slightly looser gauge that is still snug around the foot. The Drip Socks uses two colours so even the small sock yarn scraps can make up the drip, and you need less that a skien, in total! The Drip Socks use a Strong Heel construction, this is élite! I promise you've I've been loyal to other heels but this one is so spectacle to knit and wear! You'll know when you knit it, how comfortably this fits your feet, especial high arches. The strong heel is the best heel because here are no stitches to pick up or pesky holes in your gusset to stitch, you'll feel amazing after you've done this heel. I've designed on one needle size up then usual sock patterns, so why the looser gauge? Well it's gives the stitches have space to bloom sideways and it flattens the fabric giving it a thinner profile. I love to have this flattened fabric in socks as it feels so comfortable on my foot. Trust me, knit it on the recommended 2.5mm/ 1 1/2 US size. Or if you are a tighter knitter go up in your swatch to 3mm/ 2US size, it really makes these socks feel amazing, and yes still snug! The Drip Socks matches The Drip Cardi and the Drip loop Scarf – so you can make yourself an entire set! My own personal dream come true! tihehehehe
