Welcome to my tapestry chart! It’s my first time sharing one, so it’s just the grid/pixel map since I’m not sure what the best formatting is being that I’m pretty new to tapestry crochet myself. When I made it, I used a color pen to subdivide columns of 5 to make counting stitches easier, so I would recommend printing the chart and marking it up in a way that makes sense to you. Please note that my finished example is a little off due to it being my prototype (and my mistakes). I also decided to embroider the metal terminals on the electrical cord in my prototype, but these could be worked in as a part of the tapestry design as mapped. Everything is in single crochets (sc - US terms). At the end of each row, you should chain 1 and turn. I added a border by going around the piece right from the end of the last row of the chart by doing half-double crochets (hdc) on the left and right sides, and making scs along the top and bottom. The finished size of my prototype was 8.25 x 11.75 inches with a US size 4 or E hook, and DK3 and worsted weight yarn (one skein was hand-spun, variegated, and varying consistency with its weight/strand thickness). You could use whichever yarn weight or hook that you prefer. One skein for each color should be more than enough (I started with partial skeins and had leftovers).
