Balsam Bandana Cowl

I have several bandana cowl patterns in my pattern sketch books and I just keep adding more. I love them so much. The Balsam Bandana Cowl was written at the same time as the Cedar Bandana Cowl. Both were born from my desire to play with a number of creative textures at the edge of the cowl. I absolutely love how this style of cowl fits - it is just the right size for warmth in the fall and winter without the heft of a larger or longer scarf. The Balsam Bandana Cowl pattern comes with instructions to make a quick and simple neck warmer with less than one 90-yard skein of super bulky yarn. The pattern is written for one size, average adult. The cowl is knit flat and in the round from the bottom up. Pattern calls for US Size 17 (12.75mm) needles, but 17 (12.0mm) needles should also work and not cause gauge issues.
