Cutie Clutch

Cutie Clutch is a cute and quick-to-make small handbag that even a beginner knitter can complete over a weekend. The bag is worked with short circular needles using three strands of cotton or a cotton/linen blend dk-weight yarn held together to create a sturdy fabric. The body of theCutie Clutch is knitted in stockinette stitch, while the flap features mock cables that can be worked without a separate cable needle. The look of the bag can easily be customized. For example, you can use a different color for the bag body than for the flap, or make it more festive by adding a sequin or metallic yarn as one of the strands, or for softer look – ad a strand of silk-mohair yarn. A shoulder strap can also be added if desired. The finished bag measures approximately: Width: 24 cm (9½ in), Height: 13 cm (5 in) Depth: 2 cm (¾ in).
