The Stormwaves Cardigan is worked from the top down, beginning with the back panel and the European shoulder construction. The front panels are then worked and connected with the back panel, worked until the cardigan reaches its full length, knitted flat in rows. The sleeves are shaped using German short rows. Finishing details such as the various cuffs and the button band are worked in double knitting. The cardigan has a light, yet very relaxed fit, which is further enhanced by the large needle size and the fluffy yarn. This makes it perfect for wearing over a top or T-shirt on cooler summer days, while also serving as a versatile layering piece throughout the year. It is fitted at the shoulders to ensure that the cardigan stays where it is supposed to and evolves into a very oversized and cuddly fit around the waist and hip area. Anschließend werden die Frontpanele gearbeitet, bis der Cardigan in Reihen seine volle Länge erreicht hat. Die Ärmel werden auch mit German-Short-Rows geformt. Abschlüsse wie die verschiedenen Bündchen und die Knopfleiste werden im Doppelstrick gearbeitet.
