There's a skein in your stash that's been waiting years for Everglow. Designed for one skein of fingering weight yarn, this light and airy shawl alternates between garter stitch and chevron lace. With zero purling. You knit Everglow from the top down, increasing stitches on both edges for a crescent that sits nicely on your shoulders and wraps around your neck. The size is easy to modify to your yarn amount. Simple enough for a tired evening, interesting enough so you won’t get bored. YARN One skein of Zitron Seidenstrasse (65% Merino, 35% Silk; 400 m / 437 yds per 100 g). Or approximately 400 m / 437 yds of similar fingering weight yarn. NEEDLES Size 4 mm / US 6 needles or size to obtain pattern gauge Although you work this shawl flat, I recommend 80–100 cm / 32–40 inch circular needles to accommodate the growing number of stitches.
